Admissions Procedure
Representatives from our Admissions Team meet with each prospective resident and/or family members to discuss mutual expectations and determine the appropriate level of services needed. We encourage a tour of our campus.
Persons moving to the Bartels community must have a physical examination and visit by our nurse. New residents to our assisted living and nursing care communities must have an up-to-date TB test. Nursing care residents also need written orders from their physician identifying prescribed medications, treatment and activities. If the individual is admitted from home, it is the familys responsibility to obtain this information from the physician prior to admission.
Only those persons whose needs can be directly met by our facility are admitted. Available services to meet those needs include physician, medical director, nursing, dietitian, rehabilitation (physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy), pharmacy, dental, social services and activities.
Please contact Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community to arrange for a free consultation with the Admissions Team.
Bartels serves all persons regardless of race, color, national origin, handicap, vision or hearing impaired, or age, in compliance with CFR parts 80, 84 and 91. We reserve the right to deny admission to an individual when we cannot provide the care necessary to meet the prospective residents needs.
